Terms of service
Plain-English terms for buying a website from Darren Lim. Last updated 20 October 2026.
Who you're buying from
Websites are designed and built by Darren Lim Song Jun, a freelance web designer in Singapore (“I”, “me”). Contact: [email protected]. I'm not GST-registered, so no GST is charged.
What you get
Each package includes what's listed on the pricing page at the time you buy: The Starter (one page), The Main (up to five pages) or The Full House (up to eight pages), plus any add-ons you choose. Every package can use one of my styles or a design made only for you, at the same price.
Payment
You pay the full price at checkout by PayNow or card. Card payments are processed by Stripe; I never see your card details. Your order reference links your payment to your order.
Timing
Typical timings are about one week for The Starter, two weeks for The Main and three weeks for The Full House. They start once you've paid and sent what I need: your menu, photos, logo, opening hours and booking or ordering links. Rush delivery roughly halves the time. If content arrives late, the launch date moves by the same amount.
Revisions
One round of revisions on each page is included. Small text and photo changes are always fine. Larger changes after you've approved a page, such as a new layout or extra pages, are quoted before any work starts.
Your content
You confirm that you have the right to use the logos, photos, text and other material you send me. I'll use them only for your website.
Ownership
Once your order is paid, the finished website and its content belong to you. Your domain is registered in your name and paid to the registrar directly. I may show the finished site in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.
Refunds
If you've paid before seeing your homepage concept and decide not to go ahead once you've seen it, you'll get a full refund. After you approve the concept and work on the full site starts, payments aren't refundable, except that if I can't deliver part of your package, I'll refund that part.
After launch
I'll fix any bugs you report in the first 30 days at no cost. Ongoing changes are covered by the optional care plan or quoted separately. Third-party services you use, such as booking or ordering platforms, are governed by their own terms.
Liability
I'll do the work with reasonable care and skill. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
